2018 Summit on Race and Inclusion

The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance Summit on Race and Inclusion examines the effects of racial disparities and strategies for their elimination at a day-long conference involving hundreds of participants from across the state of Michigan.

The 2018 Summit on Race and Inclusion will bring nationally-recognized speakers to West Michigan to address sector-specific topics of diversity, inclusion, and equity. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Joy DeGruy, an inspirational and insightful expert on the residual legacy of trauma and stress, as it relates to issues of culture and race.

The day-long conference will also feature six sector-specific breakout sessions, of which attendees will be able to attend two: Health, Business, Gov't/Policy, Community, Faith, and Education.
